We have over 20 years of experience in defending sexual offences from sexual touching or sexual assault to multiple handed rape allegations. Sexual offence allegations are of their nature extremely serious and distressing and those accused need a law firm of not only great legal skill but also tact and sympathy. We are able to offer a complete service from pre charge advice through to representation at the police station, to trial and if needed, appeal, either in the higher courts of Criminal Cases Review Commission.

International criminal law
Dorian & Co. Provides representation and assistance in all areas of international criminal law, such as allegations of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes before national, international, and internationalized courts. We also conduct consultancy work in this area of law.
Dorian & Co. provide representation before the International Criminal Court (ICC), we are seeking membership of the List of Counsel at the Court.
We also offer advice to governments, NGOs, individuals and victims groups on international criminal prosecutions.
Extradition
Dorian & Co has much experience advising individuals in extradition matters. We have expertise in both EU Law issues and cases involving Part 2 jurisdictions.
We are also on the duty solicitor scheme covering extradition at the City of Westminster Magistrates Court.
Investigation
We can attend with you at the police station where you will usually be interviewed under caution. At the police station you are entitled to independent legal advice, which is usually free under the legal aid scheme. It is often the case that it is better to obtain legal advice as soon as possible.
Proceeding
Dorian & Co represents clients in the magistrates court and the crown court. We provide asympathetic and understanding ear to guide you through the court process. We will take the time to advise you on your choices and on the evidence.
Appeals
Our appeals work is for appeals against convictions from sexual offences only. We are able to provide advice and representation in the following areas:
- Appeals from the Magistrates’ Court to the Crown Court
- Appeals to the High Court by way of Case Stated and Judicial Review
- Appeals against conviction & sentence from the Crown Court to the Court of Appeal Criminal Division
- Appeals to the Supreme Court
- Applications to the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) where an appeal has already failed.
We are able to act on either a legal aid and private fee paying basis.
